LPGA star Ko Jin-young signs two-year sponsorship deal with Solaire Resort & Casino

  SEOUL — Ko Jin-young, a Korean star player on the LPGA Tour, has signed a two-year “strong” sponsorship deal to wear the logo of Manila-based Solare Resort & Casino, her agency Sema Sports said. No financial conditions were given. Shema said Ko will make money to match the world’s highest ranking. The 24-year-old was named LPGA Rookie of the Year in 2018 and LPGA Player of the Year in 2019 with an official prize money king and a low score average of 69.06. “Since I have a strong sponsor, I will participate in the LPGA Tour with more responsibility,” Ko said in a statement through her agency. “I will not be conscious of the world’s №1 title, but I will always make up for my shortcomings, do my best, and challenge my new goal,” he said.” Sema said that when Solerizot & Casino signed a sponsorship contract with Park Sung-hyun in February 2019, her annual salary would be the best for a female golfer.
